gm team member Matt, recently spoke with me about the unique concept behind gm. There is a lot of useful information for the community, so be sure to check it out.
Question 1 : Because Japan lags behind in English education, not many people know what kind of person you are. So, first of all, please introduce yourself, including your background.
Hello, my names matt people know me in the telegram as matta, I’ve been trading crypto for about 5 years now and meme coins for about a year and half now. Investing side including stocks for about 7.
Question 2 : How are you involved in the project?
I am on the team as a lowered rank individual to assist in whatever the top members need. Help with marketing, telegram help, filling out forms for listing and so on.
Question 3 : Have you known the members of the group for a long time? How did you get together?
I’ve known the main members of the team for about a year now. We pretty much formed this super team when Liv launched Australian Safe Shepard. Some members have known each other for longer than that 1 year period.
Question 4 : I read the following statement about how the project came into being, are you acquainted with Raj?
We are actually not acquainted with raj. We just appreciate him and the acronym gm “GM was created to pay respects to Raj, the co-founder of SOL(the sun), who went down fighting for your right to say #gm.”
Question 5 : Now, I would like to ask you about your thoughts on future developments. First of all, dog-related coins are very popular in Japan. What do you think is the difference between other meme coins and gm?
The number one difference is the fact that we are trying to separate ourselves from the meme coin group. We like to call ourselves a movement coin. On the topic of future developments the teams very bullish on the future. After the first 3 weeks listing on the more exchanges than any other coins, listening to community feedback, empowering the community to voice their comments and concerns to better ourselves. The future for gm is very bright.
Question 6 : What future do you envision for the potential of meme coins, especially in terms of use cases?
Meme coin potential is actually getting pretty evolved. Now a days there’s meme coins passing top 100 coins market caps. There’s meme coins that are going into the realm of legal entities. P2e (play to earn) coins are coming into this space shaking up the know ways of passive income. There’s no limit to what meme coins can do in the aspect of use cases.
Question 7 : DEX and DAO are mentioned in the white paper, but will tighter regulations around the world hinder growth? Or can decentralization allow for growth regardless of regulations?
The one key thing to know is our push to being as legal as possible to comply with regulations wherever is can be traded. With regulations there’s no telling what will be implemented but we’ll do our best to conform with those.
Question 8 : Because Japanese laws are so strict, even dougecoins are not listed on any exchanges in Japan. We hope that Japanese exchanges will submit a listing request. We in the community will of course continue to push for this.
We actually just listed on Bitget. We honestly really rely on our community putting our name in the eyes of exchanges. We’ll push to make gm obtainable by anyone no matter where they live.
Question 9 : Do you have any message for investors who own other meme coins but not gm yet?
As I can’t really tell anyone how to invest, I will say please have a read through our whitepaper. It’s very extensive in our future plans and it’s only the first version with a More updated version coming. Join the community ask questions. You will not find a more transparent team then the gm team, But please do your own research as we have answer many questions over and over and have that information public.
Question 10 : Do you have a message for your fans in Japan? Are you planning to hold a meetup when covid19 is over? If so, will you come to Japan?
We love Japan! We can’t wait till it’s more obtainable and our marketing push will be starting for that. As far as meet ups go, anything is possible but we need to comply with Covid regulations and travel restrictions. Maybe virtual meetups could be a possibility who knows.
